CCL Label at Drinktec 2022: Floatable labels for PET bottles

CCL Label’s head of sustainability and communication Marika Knorr presented the company’s labels for PET recycling and returnable glass bottles at the Drinktec trade show in Munich, Germany. She shows us the floatable label application, where, when exposed to hot water, the heavier PET flakes of the label sink to the bottom of the basin and the lighter label parts float to the top, ensuring material separation for recycling.
