Schubert: Compact Cartonpacker erects, fills and closes cartons in a single module

Speaking at FachPack 2019 in Nuremberg, Marcel Kiessling, Managing Director for Schubert, discusses the compact lightline Cartonpacker, which consists of three sub-machines in two machine frames with the functions of erecting the carton trays, filling and sealing. The highly valued flexibility of Schubert’s machines does not stop with the packaging material itself. It is also enabled by Schubert’s individually manufactured robot tools. Kiessling explains that the design freedom of 3D printing allows optimally shaped tools to accommodate particularly fragile and complex product shapes.
