Speaking to PackagingInsights at Pro2Pac 2019 in London, Frederikke Magnussen notes that A Plastic Planet was founded to turn of the plastics tap, especially in the food and beverage industry. The company were exhibiting a range of forward-thinking, plastic alternatives, such as materials made from agricultural waste – such as avocado pulp – and seaweed. You can give the consumer a plastic free choice, she notes.
